Monday, February 18, 1918

            Made pies and cookies and had much to do. Had some pleasant incidents. Miss Van Harden went to the General’s for dinner. The Gen. came to see us twice. Then the newspaper man came out and took pictures. Then Cadet and Miss Van Harden went to visit the Y.M. Had a pleasant and busy evening. Germans came to raid and lost one plane. The Gen. came and brought Rev. Dr. Harlet, Y.M. worker in Bure, a fine man.
