Made donuts and finished the flour. Duff helped and it was fun. For lunch we had bought cakes, John cooked them, and they were fine. In the afternoon, it was slow but the Boch was busy and had a fine time. Segt. loaned Duff his horse. As he was leaving town, he was stopped by an M.P. and put in the guard house, and the Segt. had to walk home 12 kilos. The night was a noisy one and the guns fired all night.
