Wednesday, March 13, 1918

Busy making pies. Miss Van Harden went away at eleven last night so Gladys and I were the only ones. Got supplies, made pies, and donuts to the trenches. Made cocoa and served it to the boys as they came out of the trenches. Kept open till the wee small hours.
