Friday, May 3, 1918

A wonderful and busy day. The air raids are terrible, many planes and much noise. But our boys are busy. I went with Staff to Lignu on a shopping trip and had a lot of fun. Saw two French funerals. Went to the hospital and saw Howard. He is better. The hospital was a school before the war. It was a fine trip and we came home late and tired.
