Had a quiet day. Capt. was away all day. At night we left and slept in a truck. It was fun but at four the boys came to move the troops and we couldn’t get in our rooms so had to climb in a window.

A quiet day but all was excitement. Everybody had to leave the village. At night we went to a farm a mile away and slept in the farm house. It was very damp.

There is a movement of troops. Many were killed while changing. Seven U.D. came back empty. Think of the terrible loss. A wonderful day but sad. Russel left for home. Many of the boys have been killed. I took pictures of some of the Supply Train.
