How to Use this Site

If you are interested in reading this site in order, the easiest way is to click the big button on the right-hand side of the page. When you get to the bottom of each journal entry you can click the link that says next. The journal entries began in September 1917. Otherwise, the site is designed to be explored however you choose to explore it. Some of the entries are very brief. Margaret Sheldon found herself working long hours doing the same tasks over and over, but her interactions with the soldiers of World War I are captured along the way. As you read the journal entries one by one, you begin to feel the monotony of the work blended in with the danger and audacity of the mission she was there for.
