Cleaned up and baked. Served 25 breakfasts to some boys who missed theirs. All is well.

A usual day, plenty to do but two happy girls to do it. Made plenty of cocoa and coffee. Mended gloves and tried to make others happy.

Not much to do but cheer and keep happy. Had plenty of chores to do. All is well.

A very busy day. I made cookies and took care of the counter. Made some coffee and was told many stories about the front. All is well and I tried to do my little.

Saturday, February 9, 1918

Made donuts and pies, cleaned up. My what a grand rush for them. How the boys do like homemade things to eat. Was very tired but happy.

Monday, February 4, 1918

Breakfast with the officers. A fine bunch and we had lots of fun. Then we went to try to get things in order. We had a real treat. Gen. Dunken invited us to dinner and my he is a fine man. Was very cold and we had a hard time but got things in order.
